Darius

Born in Suresnes, Terence N’Guyen develops a French project under the name Darius that sits between electronic house, contemporary R&B, funk and disco, with a marked taste for velvety textures, slow grooves and nocturnal atmospheres. Darius began releasing his first tracks in the early 2010s, compiling this initial period on the EP Velour in 2012, and later defining his identity with Romance in 2014, notably propelled by “Hot Hands” featuring Darianna Everett. After Helios in 2015, his writing expanded toward more atmospheric and melodic formats, culminating in the album Utopia in 2017, where visual imagination and design took a central place in his work. Signed to Roche Musique, Darius has also participated in the duo Cherokee with Dorian Miche and the collective project The Nightbirds alongside FKJ, Crayon and Wayne Snow. The OASIS trilogy—deployed with OASIS (Prelude) in 2021, OASIS in 2022 and OASIS (Epilogue) in 2023—extends this aesthetic by giving more space to vocals and collaborations with Wayne Snow, Duñe, Benny Sings, Kadhja Bonet and Amaria. On stage, Darius performs across an international circuit of clubs, festivals and tours in Europe, North America and Asia.
