Rose

Keren Meloul, a French singer from the city of Nice, is better known by her stage name Rose. As an artist of the new French chanson, Rose released her eponymous debut album in 2006. Even as a young woman she composed and wrote lyrics, and her father taught her to play the guitar. She was noticed by audiences and industry professionals thanks to the track «La liste» from her first album. Slowly but surely, Rose carved out a place for herself within French chanson and went on promotional tours during which she performed at venues such as the Olympia and the Zénith. Over time she worked on her second album «Les souvenirs sous ma frange», released in 2009; the album mixes nostalgic songs with more contemporary themes. After the release and a long series of concerts, Rose became pregnant and devoted herself to motherhood, but returned in 2013 with the album «Et puis juin», on which she collaborated with the singer Loane on several tracks.
