No One Is Innocent

No One Is Innocent is a French alternative and fusion rock band formed in Paris in the early 1990s, known for its raw energy, political commitment and striking lyrics. Fronted by the charismatic voice of Kemar Gulbenkian, the band made its mark with its eponymous debut album (1994) and the track “La Peau,” which became a generational anthem. Their sound—at the crossroads of rock, metal and funk—belongs to a tradition of uncompromising, protest music. Over the years and across albums such as Utopia, Revolution.com, Propaganda, Frankenstein and Ennemis, No One Is Innocent has continued to combine powerful riffs with politically charged lyrics addressing politics, inequality, freedom and resistance to manipulation. On stage, their intensity and sincerity make them one of the most explosive acts in the French rock scene, able to bring generations together around a still-relevant cry of revolt. After more than thirty years of activity, No One Is Innocent remains true to its DNA: visceral, free and deeply humanist music.
