Eiffel
Eiffel is the rock project led by Romain Humeau — singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer — renowned for his inventiveness and artistic freedom. Since its beginnings, the project has recorded twelve albums that form a body of work outside conventional boundaries: demanding yet deeply human. Each Eiffel record explores new sonic territories while keeping at its core the strength of the songs and the poetry of the words. Influenced as much by Bowie, the Pixies, Lennon–McCartney or Talking Heads as by Bach, Brel, Beck, Vian, Coltrane or Depeche Mode, Romain Humeau weaves a distinctive universe at the crossroads of rock, pop, classical music and experimentation. On stage, Eiffel is a living, visceral band, having played nearly a thousand concerts in France, Belgium, Quebec and Switzerland. Surrounded by a loyal audience — the “Ahuris” — the group stands as an authentic entity, without artifice or pose, continuing to make French rock resonate through its sincerity, boldness and consistency.
