Marco Lys

Born in Venice, Marco Lys has spent more than twenty years building a career focused on house and tech-house, with productions informed by club techno and tribal inflections. Active at different times under the names Marco Lys and Lys, he has assembled a discography made up mainly of singles, EPs and remixes, released on various labels tied to the international house scene, including DFTD, Black Book, VIVa Music, Circus Recordings, Bambossa and SBJKT. Marco Lys’s sound rests on dry grooves, tight basslines, vocal loops and club-oriented writing, striking a balance between upfront energy and an underground aesthetic. Over the years he has maintained a presence both through original productions and reinterpretations of house and techno tracks, remaining active on the DJ-set circuit. Among his recent releases is a 2023 remix of "Brighter Days" by Cajmere feat. Dajae, which continues a coherent trajectory in club house.
