Argy

From Athens, Argy has developed since the early 2000s a career rooted in house and techno, evolving from deep house and tech house toward a darker, more melodic writing. His early maxi singles circulated on the network of European club-related labels, notably Poker Flat, in a precise, minimal and highly rhythmic register where the basses remain dry and the arrangements are deliberately spare. Over the years Argy broadened his spectrum toward tenser productions built on repetition, progressive buildups and more atmospheric textures, without leaving the dancefloor logic. This trajectory places Argy within the international house and techno scenes, between the minimal legacy of the 2000s and the more recent melodic house & techno aesthetic. Argy also appears in collaborations such as "Aria" with Omnya, which extends this shift toward expansive melodic techno structured around synthetic motifs, steady percussion and continuous tension.
