Kip Moore
Born in Tifton, Georgia, Kip Moore first aimed at sports before turning to writing and guitar, then moving to Nashville to develop a career in country music. His repertoire sits within contemporary country marked by country rock, with songs built around straightforward guitars, direct choruses and writing often centered on the road, relationships and the landscapes of the American South. After a notable breakthrough in the early 2010s, Kip Moore released Up All Night in 2012, followed by Wild Ones in 2015, Slowheart in 2017, Wild World in 2020 and Damn Love in 2023. He largely co-writes his own catalog and has also penned songs for other Nashville artists, notably Thompson Square, James Wesley and Frankie Ballard. Over the years, Kip Moore has evolved his approach toward a rougher, more introspective form of country, while keeping a clear rock base and a taste for sustained live formats. His trajectory has been built as much on album releases as on regular touring, in the United States as well as internationally. In 2024, after more than a decade with MCA Nashville, Kip Moore joins Virgin Music Group.
