Jess Moskaluke
Born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, Jess Moskaluke is part of a Canadian country scene that blends pop songwriting, radio-friendly production, and small-town country influences. Discovered in the early 2010s after several contests and showcases across Canada, she released the EP Catch Me If You Can in 2012, followed by her debut album Light Up the Night in 2014. Her path then moves between contemporary country, highly melodic choruses, and pop-format ballads, with tracks such as 'Cheap Wine and Cigarettes', 'Kiss Me Quiet', or 'Take Me Home'. Moskaluke developed this sound on the EPs Kiss Me Quiet (2015) and Past the Past (2017), maintaining an accessible approach where country guitar coexists with smoother arrangements and tempos sometimes close to mainstream pop. In 2021, The Demos marks a new step with 'Country Girls', which reaches the top of the Canada Country chart, as well as 'Halfway Home', 'Mapdot', and the duo 'Leave Each Other Alone' with Australian Travis Collins. She then continues with the EP Heartbreaker in 2023, in a direct and contemporary country-pop vein, before releasing the singles 'Life for Me' and 'I Ain’t Country' in 2025. Active on Canadian country stages for more than a decade, Jess Moskaluke holds a regular place among festival circuits, country radio, and national tours.
