Hunter Brothers
Rooted in the plains of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, the Hunter Brothers bring together siblings Luke, JJ, Ty, Brock and Dusty Hunter in a Canadian country band that blends tight vocal harmonies with songwriting leaning toward pop and melodic rock. Hailing from a rural, agricultural background, the Hunter Brothers initially shaped their identity through family performances before formalizing the project and releasing their debut album, “Getaway,” in 2017, which showcased a modern, radio‑friendly country approach. The releases “State of Mind” (2019) and “Been a Minute” (2021) confirmed that trajectory, featuring more developed vocal arrangements, anthemic, unifying choruses and lyrics focused on relationships, everyday life and attachment to place. Primarily active on the Canadian country scene, the Hunter Brothers alternate between tours, festivals and opening slots, developing a stage aesthetic built on the group’s collective energy and the emphasis on siblinghood. Straddling contemporary country with pop touches and occasional rock accents, the Hunter Brothers occupy an accessible vein in which family polyphony and their connection to rural roots remain at the heart of the musical project.
