Hardwell

Born in Breda, Netherlands, Robbert van de Corput, known as Hardwell, began building a career as a DJ and producer in his teens within the Dutch electronic scene. His name rose to prominence in the late 2000s with the bootleg “Show Me Love vs. Be”, after which he became part of the EDM boom with a sound centered on big room house, progressive house and electro house, later incorporating techno, hardstyle and future rave elements. Hardwell founded the label Revealed Recordings in 2010 and launched the show and podcast Hardwell On Air in 2011 — two important platforms in his trajectory and in his link to international festival circuits. Present on stages such as Tomorrowland, Ultra and Creamfields, Hardwell has also evolved his productions through collaborations with Tiësto, W&W, Afrojack and Armin van Buuren. His discography notably includes the albums United We Are (2015) and Rebels Never Die (2022), the latter marking his return to touring after a break announced in 2018. Since then, Hardwell has continued to pursue work oriented toward a crossover of big room energy and techno textures, while maintaining regular activity as a producer and curator via Revealed.
