Bassjackers

Formed in the Netherlands in 2007 by Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst, Bassjackers established themselves in the Dutch EDM scene with a sound centered on electro house and big room house, characterized by direct rhythms, massive synths and festival-oriented structures. The duo came together while both members were still in high school, with a clear division of roles between Marlon’s stage presence and Ralph’s production work. Bassjackers began to gain wider exposure in the early 2010s, notably with 'Mush Mush' in 2011, and went on to release on labels such as Spinnin' Records, Doorn Records, Smash the House and Revealed Recordings. Their trajectory also includes collaborations with Showtek, Dyro, R3hab, Afrojack, KSHMR, Coone, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Martin Garrix around the 2014 track 'Crackin', which marked a step in their international reach. Appearing on stages like Ultra Music Festival in Miami, EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland, Bassjackers developed a repertoire tailored to large live formats while retaining a club foundation. Their debut studio album, The Biggest, was released in 2019.
