Dosseh
Born in Orléans in 1985 and raised in Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle, Dosseh — real name Dorian N’Goumou — established himself in French rap with a dark, direct, narrative writing style at the crossroads of street rap and melodic trap with more open choruses. The younger brother of Pit Baccardi, Dosseh began writing as a teenager and gradually drew attention through appearances alongside artists like Booba and Seth Gueko, before shaping his trajectory with the Summer Crack mixtape series launched in 2011. That period set a tone marked by neighborhood stories, social tension and a precise turn of phrase. After the street album Perestroïka in 2015, he released Yuri in 2016 and Vidalo$$a in 2018, which broadened his range without breaking from his roots. He continued with Summer Crack Volume 4 in 2019 and the album Trop tôt pour mourir in 2022. Over the years Dosseh has moved between solo projects, collaborations and various rap stages — working with the likes of Niro, Sofiane, Dinos, Lacrim, Leto and Tiakola — while maintaining an identity centered on the darkness of his themes, a sharp flow and a very measured diction.
