The Itch
Born from the collaboration between Simon Tyrie and Georgia Hardy, The Itch operates at the intersection of experimental pop, alternative electronic and club culture. The Itch emerged in 2024 with “Ursula,” a seven-minute debut track conceived as an homage to Ursula K. Le Guin, whose shifting form already signalled a taste for evolving pieces and fluid structures. After that first release, followed by a headlining show, the duo kept a low profile before returning in 2025 with the double A-side “The Influencer” / “Co-Conspirator,” The Itch’s first release on Fiction Records / I OH YOU. Built from the same drum patterns, basslines and reworked vocal elements, the two tracks function as sister compositions: one embodies taut pop songwriting, the other offers a darker, club-oriented version. This logic of variation and reinterpretation currently defines The Itch’s identity, focused on transforming a single sonic material and on a close link between music, image and performance.
