Bausa
Formed in Stabekk, in the municipality of Bærum west of Oslo, Bausa, also known as The Bausa and initially active under the name Brødrene Bausa, brings together Edvard Bræin Groth, Fredrik von Krogh and Philip Bergenstjerna. The trio first appeared in 2021 in the context of Norwegian russemusikk, a festive music linked to the celebrations at the end of high school, before gradually broadening its range toward a wider club pop, between house, party music and sung refrains. Bausa began to gain attention in Norway with the singles 'Mawbys' in 2022 and then 'Turné' in 2023, which establish their direct writing and their sense of melodic efficiency. Their journey also includes several collaborations, notably with Coucheron, Pasha, Amara, Ginger Joe, Thomskalle and Norwegian House Mafia. In 2024, Bausa released their debut album Ung & Dum, marking a shift in their aesthetics toward a more structured electronic pop, without breaking the collective energy of their early days. In 2025, tracks such as 'Sjonglerer', 'Overfladisk' or 'St. Tropez' continue this evolution. From 2026, The Bausa begins an international expansion with English-language tracks like 'Magnetic' and 'Addicted to Your Love', where house, disco, funk and jazz touches blend in a format more oriented toward the dance floor.
