Bouss

Born in June 1998 in Colombes and raised in Gentilly, Val-de-Marne, Bouss has established himself on the French rap scene with a blend of singing and rapping that foregrounds introspective lyrics and everyday storytelling. After a string of early singles released from 2020 onward, Bouss gained notice in 2023 when the track Mirage found wide traction on TikTok, expanding his audience beyond his initial base. The year 2024 marked a significant step in his trajectory with the release of the mixtape Depuis le temps, issued in several installments and credited to the labels Le Grand Carré and Level Up Music—a long-form project on which Bouss honed a style combining catchy melodies, sung hooks, and grittier verses. The project Depuis le temps was certified platinum by SNEP in December 2024. A few months later, Bouss reached another milestone with his debut studio album Et si j’échoue? (2024), again on Le Grand Carré / Level Up Music, accompanied by heightened media exposure, notably through a dedicated week on the program Planète Rap on Skyrock.
