Déyyess explores relationships between women, unrequited longings and queer joy through alt-pop threaded with shoegaze and rougher textures, allowing her to reach well beyond the LGBTQIA+ scene. With her new EP Would You Go Down On A Girl she unveils a set that's at once romantic and subtly heartbreaking, fueled by influences ranging from Cocteau Twins and The Cranberries to Chappell Roan and Clairo. Hailing from Canterbury, she affirmed her queer identity early on, encouraged by Lady Gaga's public and steadfast support for the community. Since then she has opened for Alessi Rose across the UK and Europe, sung at BST Hyde Park alongside Olivia Rodrigo and taken to the stages at Reading and Leeds.
