DAYSY
Born in Caen, Daysy has since the 2010s developed a trajectory spanning contemporary pop, electro-pop and French chanson with urban accents. Initially active with Léo Chatelier in Patchamama, then in the duo Daisy, which became DAYSY in 2018, she built a repertoire initially mainly in English, carried by a flexible pop writing and productions blending electronic textures, melodic refrains and radio-friendly formats. After a first EP released in 2014, the duo released the album Better Things Are Coming in 2019, before Daysy continued the project as a solo artist after the Covid period. This shift is accompanied by a clearer move to French, with tracks such as Du like in 2020, then the EP Comme je suis in 2023 and the EP Tout dire in 2025, where Daysy tightens her writing around personal themes and a more direct pop. Alongside her performing career, Daysy develops a writer’s activity, notably alongside Joseph Kamel. She participates in the writing of Ceux qu’on était for Pierre Garnier in 2024, as well as several tracks on his album Chaque seconde la même année, and later co-writes Le monde demain for the Enfoirés 2025. Having performed on regional stages, festivals such as Art Sonic or Musilac, and then as opening acts on tours, Daysy traces her path between the French pop scene and writing for other artists.
