Ralphie Choo

Between experimental pop and deconstructed flamenco, Ralphie Choo develops from Spain a musical language that blurs the boundaries between Iberian traditions and contemporary electronic production. Based in Madrid, he emerged in the late 2010s through a series of online releases where Spanish singing, heavily processed vocals and rhythms drawn from alternative pop, R&B and Latin urban music intertwine. Ralphie Choo's music relies on a strong collage-like approach, combining guitar melodies or flamenco-tinged vocal turns with fragmented structures, pronounced tempo shifts and dense electronic textures. Active both in the studio and on stage, he belongs to a new generation of Spanish artists who use club and hyperpop codes to revisit older repertoires. This approach finds an initial synthesis on the album SUPERNOVA, released in 2023, which consolidates his place on the international experimental pop circuit.
