Hannah McFarland

Born in Alabama and based in Nashville, Hannah McFarland sits in a contemporary country scene focused on songwriting, with songs that blend acoustic ballads, folk-leaning textures and modern Nashville production. Daughter of a cowboy and a portraitist, she began playing guitar in adolescence and first drew notice on stage by opening for artists such as Kelsea Ballerini and Travis Tritt, before signing a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and The Core Publishing. McFarland later joined The Core Records and Capitol Records, where she released the track ’Hey Highway’, the first release that accompanies her establishment in the current country circuit. Her debut EP, Broken Hearts, is slated for 2025 and lays the groundwork for a repertoire oriented around themes of breakup, the road and emotional connections, with a restrained vocal delivery and direct writing. Alongside her solo releases, McFarland appears alongside Riley Green on ’I Just Need You’, with Brett Young on ’In Case You Didn’t Know 2.0’, and collaborates with Chase Rice on the 2025 single ’Foolin’’. Her trajectory also includes sustained live activity, between country festivals and opening acts on tours in the United States and Europe, following in the footsteps of artists such as Kip Moore, Chase Rice, Tucker Wetmore, and Riley Green.
