Info
Texas return to the stage in Manchester with a show that traces their long-running pop-rock story without getting stuck in nostalgia. Formed in Glasgow in the late 80s, the band built its reputation on big choruses, sharp guitar lines and Sharleen Spiteri’s unmistakable voice, first breaking through with “I Don’t Want a Lover” and the album Southside. From there, they kept shaping a sleek, radio-ready sound across Mothers Heaven and Ricks Road, before hitting a new peak with White on Blonde and its run of era-defining singles, followed by The Hush.
On 29 October 2027 at Co-op Live, expect a set that moves confidently between early rock energy and the more polished, soulful side they developed over the years, with room for the songs that turned them into a staple of UK stages, plus later material that shows how they’ve kept evolving after their mid-2000s pause and comeback.
