Info
On November 28, 2026, The Clause land at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls in Wolverhampton with their guitar-led indie rock that nods to britpop without getting stuck in the past. Coming out of Birmingham’s local circuit, the band’s sound leans on chunky melodic riffs and bass lines that keep things moving, with little touches of funk and R&B in the groove.
Live, their songs are built for the room: tight, accessible structures, verses that pull back before choruses hit heavier, and vocals that shift between straight-up momentum and a more muted, late-night edge. After years of singles and steady touring around the UK, this date feels like a snapshot of a band shaped by stages first and foremost, aiming for that balance between alternative rock bite and the kind of rhythm that makes a crowd lock in.
