On May 20, 2027, at La Maroquinerie in Paris, Odezenne will defend Programme C, an evening conceived as a sweeping survey of their repertoire. The Bordeaux-based trio (Alix Caillet, Mattia Lucchini, Jacques Cormary) unfolds there a sequence of tracks that clearly reveal their taste for offbeat detours and twists: Au Baccara, Bleu Fuchsia, Mamour, Dedans, Méli Mélo, I Love You, Tempelhof, Caprice, Merry-go-round, Babylone, Taxi, Delta... and a whole series of tightly crafted titles up to Y a des mots.
Between rap, spoken word, and song, Odezenne moves with a writing style that is at once raw and precise, capable of moving from intimate to absurd without warning. On stage, there are no frills: lyrics that snap, choruses that linger, and that direct energy that makes the band a truly distinctive project in the Francophone music landscape.
