Odezenne

Odezenne is a trio from Bordeaux formed by Alix Caillet, Mattia Lucchini and Jacques Cormary, who upend the conventions of rap and the French chanson with a singular, literary and profoundly free voice. Since Sans chantilly (2008), the group has built a demanding and sensitive discography: 1200 mètres en tout (2012), Dolziger Str. 2 (2015), Au Baccara (2018), 1210 (2021), through to Unplugged (2022) and their live record Beste (2023). Between spoken word, raw poetry, dark humour and openly embraced vulnerability, Odezenne explores the intimate, the times, love and the absurd with rare acuity. On stage, the trio unleashes a frontal and cathartic energy that has established them as one of the most unclassifiable and treasured projects on the francophone scene.
