Info
On November 29, 2026, at the Léo Delibes Conservatory in Clichy, Mélissa Laveaux will lend her voice and guitars to the Femmes s’en mêlent program. A Franco-Canadian artist of Haitian origin, she has been carving out a distinctive path for nearly twenty years, somewhere between indie pop, folk, rock, and Caribbean rhythms. On stage, her songs speak of identity, memory, emancipation, and social justice, without preachy rhetoric: they advance through words, rhythms, silences, and a very direct way of drawing the audience in. Surrounded by musicians, she plays with contrasts, between upfront energy and more intimate moments, with melodies that grab you and lyrics that linger.
Alice Lewis will open the evening with her delicate and hypnotic universe, between keyboards, electronics, and vocals, to set the mood before Mélissa Laveaux’s set and to extend this dialogue of singular voices.
