Info
On 11 November 2026 Good Charlotte will bring their Motel Du Cap EU/UK Tour to the Zenith in Munich. Founded in 1996 in Maryland by twins Joel and Benji Madden, the band has moved between pop-punk, melodic punk rock and alternative rock since its beginnings. After their 2000 debut, The Young and the Hopeless (2002) firmly put them in the spotlight, with choruses that land immediately and an energy rooted in punk that doesn’t exclude pop. Later albums such as The Chronicles of Life and Death (2004) and Good Morning Revival (2007) introduced darker, more electronic nuances. With Youth Authority (2016) and Generation Rx (2018), Good Charlotte addressed themes like mental health, social pressure and coping with the public eye even more directly — a pop-punk that sounds grown-up but remains forceful live.
Yellowcard are also on the bill. Founded in Jacksonville in 1997, they shaped the scene with a trademark: Sean Mackin’s violin, woven into punchy guitars and melodic hooks. Ocean Avenue (2003) brought them their breakthrough, followed by Lights and Sounds (2006) and Paper Walls (2007). After hiatuses the band returned, releasing the EP Childhood Eyes (2023) and Better Days (2025). Today Ryan Key, Sean Mackin, Ryan Mendez and Josh Portman represent a sound that makes pop-punk with violin and big melodies unmistakable.
