Skip the Use

Skip The Use returns to the stage on March 13, 2027 at La Belle Electrique in Grenoble. Led by Matt Bastard, the Lille-based band has been cultivating, since 2007, a borderless blend of rock, punk, electro, pop, hip-hop and funk designed for live impact. After several years of exploration, they are back on tour with LOVE & ANXIETY, an album released in April 2026, where the songwriting is more direct and introspective, supported by a sharp production. The record features “WE ARE GOOD,” a track that has established itself on radio and forms the backbone of a set poised between energy and light-and-dark contrasts.

On stage, Skip The Use plays by instinct, takes turns and always lands on its feet. Nervy guitars, taut synths and crisp rhythms answer one another without stifling the momentum, alternating punk surges, electro pulses and catchy choruses. The concert draws from both the new songs and the tracks that made the band, while preserving that taste for contrast that defines their signature. It’s an event designed to rediscover the power of the collective and the raw energy that originally revealed them.
