Info

Embrace return for an intimate album show built around Avalanche. Formed in West Yorkshire by brothers Danny and Richard McNamara with Steve Firth, Mike Heaton and Mickey Dale, the band came up through the late-90s britpop and indie rock scene and shaped a melodic, guitar-led sound with keys in counterpoint and a vocal delivery that keeps the tension upfront. From The Good Will Out and Drawn from Memory to Out of Nothing, then Embrace (2014), Love Is a Basic Need and How to Be a Person Like Other People, their writing has shifted from youthful surge to a more measured, reflective edge without losing momentum.

On Thursday 11 June 2026 at Jacaranda Baltic, Liverpool, Embrace bring Avalanche to the stage up close, weaving new tracks with songs that map their route from the 90s to today. The set leans on tightly arranged guitars, warm keyboard lines and slow-burn builds, played with the direct energy that suits a small room. It’s a chance to hear where the band is heading now, with fresh material tested live and older cuts given space to breathe in a focused, no-frills setting.
