Warpaint

Warpaint bring their shapeshifting indie to Royal Festival Hall, London, on 11 June 2026. Formed in Los Angeles, the quartet of Emily Kokal, Theresa Wayman, Jenny Lee Lindberg and Stella Mozgawa sculpts songs where interlocking guitars, a forward bass, supple drums and voices in dialogue create a misty, rhythmic pull. Over more than two decades together, they’ve traced a clear line from The Fool (2010) through Warpaint (2014) and Heads Up (2016) to Radiate Like This (2022), streamlining their sound without losing that balance between airy melody, discreet groove and darker textures.

On stage, Warpaint play with space and tension, building patiently before letting tracks unfurl. The set navigates shadowy slow-burners and sharper, percussive cuts, with harmonies threading every turn. Kokal and Wayman trade lines and guitar colours, Lindberg locks the low end with melodic bite, and Mozgawa steers the rhythmic shifts with fluid precision. Expect a live journey that revisits key moments from their catalogue while leaving room for new contours to emerge, true to a band that treats performance as a living arrangement.
