Los Angeles trio MUNA — Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin and Naomi McPherson — bring their Gets So Hot tour to O2 Apollo, Manchester on 14 November 2026. Formed in 2013, the band has carved a sharp blend of indie pop and synth-pop, mixing clear, ringing guitars with lean electronic production and direct songwriting about relationships, identity and emotional tension. After early EPs, their debut About U (2017) set the tone, followed by Saves the World (2019). A move to Phoebe Bridgers’ label Saddest Factory led to Silk Chiffon with Bridgers in 2021 and the self-titled Muna in 2022, a brighter turn that kept the trio’s melodic precision intact.

On stage, MUNA shift with ease from slow-burning confessionals to driving dance-pop, anchored by Gavin’s lead lines, Maskin’s agile guitar work and McPherson’s production instincts. Tours alongside Harry Styles, Kacey Musgraves, Lorde and Taylor Swift have refined their live interplay, captured on the 2024 release Live at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. In Manchester, they roll through every phase of their catalogue, balancing intimate moments and punchier cuts with the tight, collaborative energy that defines the band.
