1000mods hits Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 26 November 2026 with a heavy rock set that sits between stoner, psych and desert rock. Formed in 2006 in Chiliomodi near Corinth, the Greek quartet plays dense, straight-ahead songs driven by thick riffs, tempos that shift from forward thrust to deliberate weight, and a melodic voice with a rough grain. The link to 1970s hard rock is clear, but the bite comes from a more underground edge. Across Super Van Vacation, Vultures and Youth of Dissent, the band has tightened its writing without losing the repetitive grooves, gradual climbs and unfussy choruses that carry their tracks. On stage, the focus is on collective impact: rhythmic tension, rasping melodies and a sound that pushes without clutter.
