Info
On 3 October 2026 at O2 Academy Islington in London, Big Cyc and The Analogs join forces for a night rooted in Polish punk and its sharp-tongued offshoots.
Since 1988, Big Cyc has folded punk, ska and hard rock into a satirical rock voice that grew out of the late-80s student and alternative scene. Their lyrics hit on public life, media and social change with a direct, ironic edge, from early releases like Z partyjnym pozdrowieniem (1990), Nie wierzcie elektrykom (1991) and Miłość, muzyka, mordobicie (1992) to later records such as Moherowe Berety (2006) and Czarne Słońce Narodu (2016). Around Krzysztof Skiba, Jacek Jędrzejak, Jarosław Lis, Roman Lechowicz and Piotr Sztajdel, the band keeps a tight, punchy sound, recently extended on Przystanek wolność (2022), Wolność słowa na kartonie (2023) and Manifesto (2024).
Formed in Szczecin in 1995, The Analogs carry a street punk and oi! lineage built on short, no-frills songs, shouted hooks and stories of city life and social tension. Led by Paweł “Piguła” Czekała’s writing, with Kamil Rosiak on vocals and guitar, they have toured across Europe and pushed a gritty, melodic approach through Wilk (2018), CHWDP (2021) and Bestia (2024), focusing on inequality, everyday struggle and the margins.
