Farben Lehre

Formed in Płock in 1986 around Wojciech Wojda and Marek Knap, Farben Lehre has established itself in the continuity of Polish punk rock with direct songwriting and a sound that mixes punk rock, punky reggae and alternative rock. After several appearances at the Jarocin festival in the late 1980s, Farben Lehre were among the laureates in 1990, a milestone that led to the recording of Bez pokory in 1991. The band's discography then expanded with My maszyny (1993), Insekty (1995), Zdrada (1996), Atomowe zabawki (2001), Pozytywka (2003), Snukraina (2008), Projekt Punk (2013), Trzy dekady (2016), Stacja Wolność (2018), Pieśni XX wieku (2021) and Na zdrowie (2023). Reconfigured in 1999 around Wojciech Wojda, Konrad Wojda and Filip Grodzicki, and completed by Gerard Klawe on drums in 2017, Farben Lehre has since operated as a stable quartet, active on punk and rock stages in Poland and abroad. Since 2004 the band has also presented the Punky Reggae Live tour and developed Farben Lehre Akustycznie, an acoustic rendition of their repertoire.
