Lej Mi Pół
Formed in 2012 in Bielsko-Biała, in the south of Poland, Lej Mi Pół moves between comedy rock, pop punk and punk rock, with a repertoire centered on satirical lyrics, often crude, rooted in student everyday life and ordinary situations turned upside down by the absurd. Lej Mi Pół first drew attention with the album Skolioza odbytu in 2012, before continuing with Fabryka męskości in 2014, Wszystkiego najlepszego Marian in 2017 and Wędrowny druciarz in 2022. The band, often abbreviated as LMP, develops a direct writing style and a nervous sound, built on short formats, shouted choruses and a stage energy close to festive punk, without straying from a melodic rock vein. In its trajectory, Lej Mi Pół has circulated on stages linked to student and alternative festivals in Poland, notably juwenalia and the Zacieralia festival, a coherent context with its frontal humor and popular anchoring. The lineup has undergone several changes over the years; the recently mentioned formation brings together Jarosław Maślak, Marek Więckowski and Adam Polanowski. Among the titles that helped establish Lej Mi Pół in the Polish landscape is Polibuda, a track associated with the universe of student residences of the Politechnika Śląska.
