Dillinger Escape Plan

On 22 June 2026 at O2 Academy Brixton, The Dillinger Escape Plan steps back on a London stage with the cutting, mathcore vocabulary that made their name: fractured rhythms, abrupt shifts and dissonant harmonies welded to precision riffs. Formed in New Jersey in the late 90s, the band built its sound around guitarist Ben Weinman and a rhythm section in constant evolution. First carried by Dimitri Minakakis, then by Greg Puciato from 2001, their voice changed but the intent stayed firm across a catalogue that pushed hardcore into new shapes.

From the density of Calculating Infinity to the Mike Patton collaboration Irony Is a Dead Scene, then Miss Machine and Ire Works, the group opened doors to deconstructed pop, jazz touches and electronics without losing impact. Option Paralysis and One of Us Is the Killer refined that balance between force and melody, while Dissociation closed a chapter without softening the edges. On stage, these tracks turn into tight corners and sudden breaks, with flashes of melody cutting through the charge — music that thinks sideways and hits with control.
