Info
On 8 May 2026, The Royston Club bring their lean, melodic indie rock to Edinburgh Corn Exchange. Born in Wrexham from the friendship of Ben Matthias, Tom Faithfull, Dave Tute and Sam Jones, the quartet cut its teeth on self-released demos before Coasting pushed them into the UK vinyl Top 10 in 2021. Their debut album, Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars, reached #16 in the UK and carried them from club stages to festival slots at Glastonbury and Rock en Seine, even catching the ear of Ryan Reynolds.
On stage, the band goes straight to the point: crisp riffs, tight hooks and lyrics that pin down the rush and doubts of their age. This Edinburgh date draws on that first record and the more grounded writing of Songs for the Spine, a second album that marks a firmer sound without losing the immediacy that got them noticed. A set that moves fast, trades choruses you can shout back and leans on the chemistry of four players who have built their voice step by step.
