Info
From Los Angeles, Faetooth carves a strain of fairy-doom that folds doom metal, sludge and shoegaze into one slow-burning haze. Ethereal clean melodies meet harsh growls, fuzzy guitar swells and heavy, deliberate rhythms, building a mood that shifts from fragile to crushing. Formed out of the DIY underground, the band writes long-form pieces with marked dynamic turns, letting repetition, weight and texture carry the narrative.
The trio is touring Labyrinthine, a second album steeped in introspection and bodily imagery: the garden, the light, the void, the body. Recent tracks map the terrain with clarity. Death of Day rides a grunge-like pulse; October leans into bittersweet lines; White Noise, sparked by a diary entry, circles the pull of familiar turmoil. On stage, the band leans into contrasts, from gliding passages to grinding riffs, pairing airy chants with a rasp that slices through the mix.
Faetooth play Brudenell Social Club on 18 June 2026. They bring a set that tilts between intimacy and release, slow drift and dense blowouts, threading their layered guitars and pounding rhythm section into an atmosphere that tightens, breathes, then breaks open.
