Info

On 14 March 2027, The Glasshouse – International Centre for Music in Gateshead hosts Kim Wilde’s The Singles Tour, a night tracing her path from early-80s new wave and synth-pop to later pop-rock. Backed by her longtime band and with Ricky Wilde always central to the sound, she revisits the tracks that shaped each phase of her career, from the first run of albums through Close and the 90s adult-pop turn, then the studio return marked by Never Say Never and Here Come the Aliens. The set leans on sharp keyboards, crisp guitars and those direct, melodic refrains that have carried her catalogue on stage for decades.

Also on the bill, Tiffany brings her own journey from late-80s teen-pop breakthrough to a more songwriter-driven rock edge. Known for “I Think We’re Alone Now,” she has since explored different horizons, from the introspective The Color of Silence to the dance detour of Dust Off and Dance, the Nashville-tinged Rose Tattoo and recent albums like Pieces of Me and Shadows. Live, she moves between pop melodies, rock textures and slower ballads, drawing a clear line through the different chapters of her discography.
