MUNA

MUNA will play on 20 November 2026 at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Los Angeles trio—Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin and Naomi McPherson—has been crafting a sound since 2013 that sits between indie pop, synth-pop and electropop with a darker edge. Their songs are direct and personal, dealing with relationships, identity and emotional friction, carried by bright guitars, compact productions and hooks that stick.

After the early EPs More Perfect (2014) and Loudspeaker (2016), their debut album About U followed in 2017, with Saves the World (2019) continuing that trajectory. MUNA then moved to Saddest Factory, Phoebe Bridgers’ label, and in 2021 released the track “Silk Chiffon” with her. The self-titled third album Muna (2022) showed a lighter tone without losing melodic precision. In 2024 they issued Live at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, a snapshot of their growth on stage.

On stage MUNA performs as a full band with guitars, synths and tight rhythms. Years of touring with, among others, Harry Styles, Phoebe Bridgers, Kacey Musgraves, Lorde and Taylor Swift have sharpened their live approach. Expect a set in Amsterdam that brings together their three studio albums and recent favorites, including “Silk Chiffon.”
