Info

Coline Rio returns to the stage on October 7, 2026 at the Rocher de Palmer in Cenon. With "Manteau chagrin," a song born of a breakup and chaos, she opens the door to her forthcoming album and highlights a new sonic direction. A singer-songwriter, she broadens her palette: more prominent guitars, drums played by Raphaël Chassin, a few discreet textures, and above all a voice that explores different contours, at times rawer.

Situated between Joni Mitchell's folk and Lizzy McAlpine's contemporary songwriting, her new tracks align with her earlier songs to form a set that favors intimacy and melodic clarity. After a long tour, Coline has refined a stage approach centered on the lyrics, with tighter arrangements that allow the harmonies and the band's dynamics to breathe. The performance retains her luminous-melancholic shades, moderate tempos, and supporting piano or light pads, but with a more organic texture and vocal choices that are less predictable. It’s an occasion to gauge where Coline Rio stands now, between continuity and new perspectives.
