Info

On May 3, 2026 at Petit Bain, Paris, Crippled Black Phoenix and Temple Fang share the same stage for an evening marked by expansive, deeply felt rock. Formed in 2004 by multi-instrumentalist Justin Greaves, Crippled Black Phoenix operates as a British collective blending dark rock with experimental textures. The band delivers elongated pieces built on slow climbs, heavier passages and a persistent melancholy, addressing themes of love, loss, tragedy and redemption. A substantial discography, numerous EPs and a live approach conceived to create an atmosphere that is as much storytelling as it is an explosive outburst.

Temple Fang, an Amsterdam quartet active since 2018, plays at length and lets its songs breathe. With a DIY approach, collective spirit and a taste for versions that evolve from one gig to the next, the group treats the stage as a living playground rather than a studio reproduction. With a new album to their name, the tour highlights tense riffs, three-part vocal harmonies, tight bass lines and groovy, powerful drumming, all in a heavy-psych vein that flirts with space rock and trance. To situate them, think Motorpsycho, The Grateful Dead, Hawkwind or Hendrix — with the idea of rock as a vector of momentum and openness.
