Zaoui

Zaoui, the stage name of Raphaël Faget and a founding member of Thérapie Taxi, continues his solo career and opens a new chapter with Toxic et Chic. After a debut album and a tour that included the Olympia, he explores a vein where desire and pain intermingle, balancing an assumed nonchalance with lucid fragility. With clean writing, direct imagery and choruses that stick, he revisits what defined his early work while asserting a more personal signature — somewhere between nervy pop, measured rap and electronic textures. Guitars brush up against synths, the beats tilt toward dance, and his voice keeps a supple phrasing that carries stories of passion, longing and a headlong rush forward. Thérapie Taxi’s DNA is still recognizable, but the frame is now his own: tighter, more precise in its choices of sound and words. Zaoui will be at Les Trinitaires in Metz on May 12, 2026, for a concert focused on his new material and the backbone of his solo project.
