Notre Dame
Based in Paris, Notre Dame has been developing since the 2010s a trajectory focused on melodic, direct electronic music at the intersection of house and techno, with tracks built on progression, wide synth lines and an emotional charge designed for the club. A French artist, Notre Dame first reached a wider audience with “Yumi,” the initial release on Diynamic, before expanding the discography to labels such as Innervisions, Human By Default, Kitsuné and Cercle, while also launching the artist’s own label, Paranormal. Notre Dame’s work circulates both in club circuits and in more transversal contexts of the contemporary electronic scene, and DJ activity has led to performances in several cities outside France, notably Tokyo, London, Miami and Beirut. Alongside productions, Notre Dame develops remixes for artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Bedouin and Röyksopp. Through these releases and collaborations Notre Dame maintains a coherent aesthetic line based on carefully crafted textures, restrained rhythms and a writing approach that favors momentum and progressive build‑ups.
