Behind Betical are Max and Martin, two French brothers who together develop an electronic project at the crossroads of deep house, indie house and melodic house with warm textures. Betical’s sound blends supple rhythmic lines, soft, cushioned bass, airy pads and a steadily building tension, striking a balance between club-ready form and a more emotional dimension. Through their releases, Betical has established itself on the electronic scene with productions and remixes played both at open-air events and in clubs, with releases on labels such as Siamese and Rose Avenue. In 2024 their take on “Back on 74” circulated widely in DJs’ sets across the house and melodic scenes, and “Do It Again” extended that momentum into 2025. Betical also produced a remix of “Levitating” for RÜFÜS DU SOL that aligns with their approach — immersive yet dancefloor-focused. With backgrounds in design, Max and Martin also construct Betical’s visual universe, from artworks to scenography, giving the project a coherent identity across music, image and performance.
