Andrea Oliva

Swiss DJ and producer of Italian origin based in Basel, Andrea Oliva developed his career around the turn of the 2000s, moving from local record shops to clubs on the Swiss scene before gradually broadening his horizon across Europe. Andrea Oliva’s sound is rooted in dancefloor-oriented house and techno, with a marked taste for percussive grooves, sustained basslines and long-form constructions that favour progression over immediate impact. His maxi releases on labels such as Cadenza and Desolat in the early 2010s strengthened his visibility with the club audience, while his remixes and collaborations placed him in a network of house and techno artists active across Switzerland, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. Regularly invited to festival stages and clubs from Ibiza to North America, Andrea Oliva is above all defined by his longevity through his residency within the ANTS concept at Ushuaïa Ibiza, where he shapes a sound between tech house, deep house and melodic techno, equally focused on dance energy and the continuity of the mix.
