FLO

Formed in London in 2019, FLO brings together Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma and Renée Downer around a contemporary R&B nourished by pop, soul and a strong imagery inspired by 1990s and 2000s girl groups. After a period of writing and development, the trio emerged in 2022 with 'Cardboard Box', followed by the EP The Lead in the same year, which already features tight vocal harmonies, direct choruses and a production that blends old-school references with contemporary formats. FLO then refines this identity with the 2023 EP 3 of Us, while increasing live performances across touring, festivals and British and American television. Their path also crosses several notable collaborations, from Stormzy to Missy Elliott on 'Fly Girl', then Kehlani and GloRilla. In 2024, FLO released its first album, Access All Areas, extending this approach between melodic R&B, urban pop and a Y2K heritage, with tracks built around group singing as well as individual voices. Present on pop, R&B and festival circuits, FLO sits within a British scene that brings the format of a female vocal trio to the foreground without treating it as a nostalgic exercise.
