Glitterer
Led by Ned Russin, bassist and vocalist of Pennsylvania’s Title Fight, Glitterer has evolved since the late 2010s as a more introspective, synth-oriented facet of his rock world. Begun as a solo home-recording project, it released the EPs "Glitterer" (2017) and "Not Glitterer" (2018), mixing short song structures, direct vocals and minimalist electronic textures. Based in Washington D.C., Glitterer occupies an intermediate space between indie rock, post-hardcore heritage and lo-fi pop, often delivering concise tracks focused on questions of identity, doubt and daily routine. The shift to full-length records with "Looking Through The Shades" (2019), followed by "Life Is Not A Lesson" (2021) and "Rationale" (2023), saw the project move toward a more band-oriented sound where saturated guitars, melodic basslines and restrained keyboards coexist. On stage, Glitterer plays independent clubs and DIY circuits drawn from North American punk and emo scenes.
