DITTER

Based in Paris, DITTER brings together Rosa, Samuel and François around a trio format that blends electroclash, synthetic punk and abrasive pop. The project emerged in the early 2020s with nervous, direct writing, built on binary rhythms, short refrains and a constant tension between pop irony and frontal energy. DITTER develops a universe where electronic textures remain dry and punchy, with tracks designed for the stage as much as for immediate impact. The band released the EP Cringe Is the New Sexy in 2023, a first milestone that fixes this jagged aesthetic, between light provocation, angular melodies and post-punk spirit. In the French landscape, DITTER sits within a recent scene attentive to the intersections between electronic music and guitars, while maintaining a deliberately concise and physical approach. The move to Rock en Seine in 2023 accompanied the group's live debut, a central arena of its evolution, where the trio's cohesion and the performative dimension of its tracks take as much importance as the writing itself.
