Crenoka

Under the name Crenoka, Nastasia develops a Franco‑American solo project situated between alternative pop and danceable electronic music, nourished by the popular culture of the 1990s and early 2000s. Her path began in academic research on postmodern American literature, before she refocused on writing, the stage and composition. For Crenoka, that background translates into an approach that is at once direct and detached, where the songs rest on bass lines, pop melodies and clear electronic textures. Crenoka’s aesthetic brings to the surface the imprint of turn‑of‑the‑millennium pop, with attention to format, rhythm and the effectiveness of the chorus, while remaining within an independent framework.
