PAMELA

Born from a studio collaboration between Samuel Sprent and Simon Quénéa, Pamela has developed as a duo in which songwriting and production are created in the moment, each session quickly giving rise to new tracks. Pamela occupies a hybrid vein that blends post‑punk tension, indie rock energy and pop structures with rhythms clearly geared toward dance, drawing on elements of britpop, chanson and electronic music. The songs often rely on repeated motifs, easily memorable choruses and melodic lines that favour effectiveness over display. Sung entirely in English — Samuel Sprent's native language and a deliberate choice by the band — Pamela's music is crafted in the studio with producer Pierre Cheguillaume, who helps the duo shape this blend of guitars, synthetic textures and club pulses.
