Marie Vaunt

Based in Los Angeles, Marie Vaunt develops a DJ and techno producer project rooted in a dark, tense and melodic aesthetic, where massive rhythms, acid lines and airy vocals intersect. Of Japanese‑American origin, Marie Vaunt established herself from the late 2010s with a series of releases focused on peak‑time techno, acid techno and electro‑techno, issued both on her own label Kurai Records and on imprints such as Drumcode, Arcane, Monstercat, Revealed Recordings and EXTATIC. Her writing combines club impact, cutting textures and vocal motifs often treated in a spectral way, in a format designed for both large stages and darker contexts. Among the tracks that accompanied this progression are That Acid, Dark Room, The Chosen, ADSR and Reaction. Marie Vaunt has also circulated her music and sets across the United States, Japan and several European scenes, maintaining a regular presence on the international techno circuit.
